It's been a long time since I wrote! I guess I've been preoccupied with this whole having a baby thing, but also, nothing too weird has happened. Except the whole I'm having a baby thing. I'm still super klutzy, but that's to be expected. The pregnancy has been normal so far.
Oh, I do have one story related to pregnancy. A couple of weekends ago, Brian left the house and I went into the basement to get something out of the chest freezer and I smelled natural gas really strong. Now, we've been in this house for a year and a half and I have NEVER smelled gas. So I called the gas company just to be safe.
Now, there's nothing like calling the gas company and saying "I smell gas" to put them on alert. I was instructed to not turn anything on or off, open or close any windows, or even hang up the phone when I was done talking! So my "maybe I should call the gas company" turned into "holy crap, I'll be in the driveway waiting for the gas guy and peeking in the windows every five minutes to check on the cats".
Super long story short, the gas guy shows up, uses his handy-dandy meters and finds ABSOLUTELY nothing. He can't even smell anything. So I guess my husband's new nickname of "Wolverine" is merited.
I have a feeling the last three months might bring a story or two, so I'll try to do better to keep this up-to-date! At least until May...
