Daycare calling me at work is never good. They don't call for no good reason. Today was no exception.
Nate pulled the fire alarm. The kids started to evacuate when they realized it was him. By the time the Director called, half of the kids were crying (and I could hear them in the background when she called). Nate, on the other hand, was laughing.
The funniest part is this- in their 13 years, only two kids have ever pulled the fire alarm. The other one? My nephew.
In fact, when I called to reserve a space for Nate at daycare when I was pregnant, I joked about them being able to handle another R___ boy (Nate was #3).
And then I said it: "I promise mine won't pull the fire alarm!" Yep. I did.
I'm sorry, but this story just cracks me up!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL, like they really had to call you. Did they expect you say, "Oh, thanks for calling, I'll be right there to beat him!" Ridicuous!
