So I'm driving in to work this morning and for some reason, I started wondering about my cousin's commute to work. My cousin Stacy recently purchased a home in Baden (Beaver County) and works downtown. So I'm thinking- does she take 65 (which sucks) or does she take 79 to 279? Maybe she knows some sneaky way. Does she take the bus from West View or does she park downtown. These are the strange things I wonder before I've had my first cup of coffee.
Suddenly I realize that I'm heading in to Pittsburgh on 279. I don't work in Pittsburgh. I work in Washington. I take 79 to work. Somehow, at the 79/279 split, I took 279!!! I've been making the SAME drive for 11 1/2 months, 5 and sometimes 6 days a week. And this morning I WENT THE WRONG WAY.
If someone has any insight on how something like this happens, I'd love to hear it. Because I'm truly stumped...
